You will provide clinical, managerial and professional leadership in the running of the ultrasound department and will be influencial in the future service delivery in line with technological advancements.
You will ensure robust quality assurance and professional practice is of the highest standard. They will be able to perform a full range of obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations independently and compile reports.
You will also coordinate training programmes in conjunction with recognised academic centres for all level of sonographer (trainee to senior), and be responsible for the development and implementation of operational strategies, designed to achieve divisional objectives in line with national targets.
You should have a DCR or BSc in Radiology or equivalent in nursing or midwifery and hold appropriate registration and have substantial postgraduate experience in ultrasound.
The shift pattern is 7.5
