Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Band 7
(Full time or Part-time considered)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the enthusiastic multi-disciplinary clinical team at Abbey Health Centre, Arbroath as one of a team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners within the busy practice.
As an autonomous practitioner you will be able to undertake a high level of clinical assessment in order to address undifferentiated illness, ailments and injury and have experience of long term conditions management.
You will play a key role in the leadership and development of advanced nursing practice within the practice and will participate in the delivery of education and training programmes, work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver high quality evidence based and person centred care to the practice population.

We already have:
• A well established, fully staffed and supportive admin and practice nursing team
• Continued support from other 2C (board run) Colleagues as well as an established cluster group
• A daily huddle in protected time for the whole clinical team to discuss individual patients
• Strong leadership from the Practice Manger as well as the clinical 2C lead
• An excellent MDT team supporting the Practice, including a committed pharmacy team, physio, podiatry, social prescribing, DNs and HVs
You will be an experienced nurse with the personal drive, clinical knowledge and commitment to undertake this challenging and rewarding role. You will possess highly developed communication skills and have experience of working effectively across professional boundaries. You will be expected to work autonomously and demonstrate proven leadership and change management skills.
It is essential that the post holder is a Registered General Nurse, an Independent Nurse Prescriber, with evidence of relevant post graduate education, including completion of the masters’ module in advanced clinical assessment.
