Applications are invited for LAT Specialty Registrar in Cardiology to start in February. 2021 for 6 months. This post will be based solely at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
We are looking for candidates who hold full MRCP (UK) and have existing experience at CMT2 level or above, preferably, but not necessarily in Cardiology.
Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to get an introduction to Cardiology Speciality training in a friendly department, of a busy teaching hospital with all tertiary specialities including Cardiac surgery.
The appointee will contribute to the clinical work of the Cardiology department as a Specialty Registrar, and after consideration of and confirmation of their clinical skill-set, be on the overnight and weekend Cardiology registrar on-call rota; this rota is EWTD compliant. This position will not involve GIM or GIM on-call.
