You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the community, to provide a specialist respiratory service to enable service users to achieve a level of independence through participation in graded activity. Occupational therapy assessments are utilised within the team and outside agencies to identify the service user’s functional ability. It provides a baseline on which levels of support may be required/identified to maintain a level of independence in a variety of living environments.
By engaging in the professional occupational therapy supervision process with the lead occupational therapist, the post holder will participate in the delivery of an evidenced based occupational therapy service.
You will be expected to participate in the clinical development framework within the division and professional training opportunities available. It is essential that you have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and are registered with the HCPC. You should be able to demonstrate relevance/value of other work experience.
This post is a 22.5 hour post worked 3 days over 7.
