As a Diabetes Retinopathy Screening Administrator working within the Public Health Department based at Ayrshire Central Hospital you will manage the DRS call/recall system. This involves maintaining an effective onward referral service to the Hospital eye service, coordinating local fault reporting for the Optomize system, monitoring appointment waiting times, assisting with the preparation of reports, analysing and reporting on grading activity, managing BT broadband accounts and ensuring payments are accurate, and supporting other DRS audit activity.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent level of knowledge/experience is essential along with Knowledge and experience of IT Systems. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills is also essential.
Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment or with a Screening Service is desirable. Knowledge of Optomize or Vector (national DRS IT systems) and/or SCI – DC (national Diabetes IT system) is also desirable.
You should be able provide evidence of personal/professional development, demonstrate a desire to continually update and improve knowledge and skills.
Car Owner/Driver is essential.
