The postholder supports the Employee Relations team in providing a professional, effective HR service.  Acting as a point of contact for managers and staff requiring advice and guidance on all HR matters in line with policies and procedures, best practice and employment legislation within a framework of partnership working.

 

To assist the HR Manager – Employee Relations in the provision of leadership for the Human Resources function, ensuring the development and commitment to the implementation of Human Resources Strategies, which support agreed clinical and service principles and objectives.


To assist HR Manager – Employee Relations in supporting the achievement of NHSL strategic and operational objectives.  Provide support and guidance to managers in accordance with statutory requirements, current legislation, policies and service activity to ensure a comprehensive HR Service to management and staff within Lanarkshire.


To assist in provision of HR Support and advice within Employee Relations ensuring effective activity underpins HR operations, Organisational activity and contributes to achievement of Staff, Fiscal and Clinical Governance.
