Band 6 Occupational Therapist
This post offers the opportunity to work as a band 6 occupational therapist within north east Glasgow adult community mental health services. Essential to this post is an experienced occupational therapist who can utilise an evidence based approach to assessment and treatment. You will manage a defined caseload and carry out occupational therapy assessments, treatment and evaluation of this intervention to identify barriers to an individual service user’s level of function in daily life activities. Treatment is carried out in an individual or group setting at the service user’s home, in the community or at team base. You will undertake clinical and professional supervision of occupational therapy students and staff. The Occupational Therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and engage in team activities such as mental health assessment, team audit and research. There are a range of opportunities provided for your own personal development including grade specific training and you will receive professional support and supervision. Applicants must hold a diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy, be HCPC registered and have relevant experience. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 9.00am -5.00pm.
