An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Adult nurses to join this dynamic, fast paced department.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 of the NMC Register and should hold experience in the speciality of orthopaedics and trauma.  However consideration will be given to applicants who have not worked in this speciality, as we are keen to work with you to build our own teams who can share in our passion and enthusiasm for this speciality.

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Clinical Audit Facilitator to work within an existing team in the Department of Orthopaedic & Trauma. The role involves participating in ongoing local and national orthopaedic audit & surveillance programmes and collecting data to agreed protocols.  The post holder will work autonomously providing continuing specialist assessment of joint replacement and hip fracture patients both as inpatients and by telephone post discharge. The post holder is also responsible for undertaking other relevant clinical audit and surveillance programmes that contribute to evidence based practice, nforming the multi-disciplinary team and improving the quality of care delivered to the patients.

We are seeking to recruit a registered nurse or AHP equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years post registered orthopaedic experience, who has the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team of  Clinical Audit Facilitators.

The role requires commitment to quality in governance and practice, excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
