NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Staff Bank service provides appropriately skilled and experienced registered nursing and midwifery staff on a temporary basis to support increased staffing across all our Acute Hospital locations.
Our Bank Nurses and Midwives are a vital part of our Nursing and Midwifery workforce and make a real difference every day to our patients and especially so during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are currently recruiting experienced registered nurses and midwives as we expect demand for our Bank Nursing Staff to increase especially over the winter months.

As a Bank Staff Nurse/Midwife supporting in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams of nurses, doctors, health care assistants and other health professionals during your bank shifts.
To be part of our Bank Nursing and Midwifery staff you will need to be a registered nurse/midwife with a valid NMC PIN number. We are seeking Bank staff who are available to work a variety of shift types, sometimes at short notice in wide variety of areas in our Acute Hospitals. We are seeking experienced highly motivated and flexible registered nursing staff that can make a positive contribution to patient care.
