Secondment/ fixed term for 1 year due to service delivery

  Forth Valley Psychological Therapies Service is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic psychology graduate for the above post. The post will involve the   working within a multidisciplinary community Alcohol Related Brain Injury Team.

The post holder will complete neuropsychological assessments under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist. The post holder will also attend the weekly multidisciplinary meeting and offer basic psycho-social interventions and cognitive rehabilitation to patients supported by the team. Training, support and clinical supervision will be available from within the team.

A first or upper second honours degree in Psychology is essential, as are an understanding of good clinical practice, excellent communication skills, organisational skills, IT skills and interpersonal skills.  

This department provides a friendly and supportive environment in which to work. The post will be based in the Community Alcohol and Drugs Service between Falkirk Community Hospital & St Ninians Health Centre in Stirling.
