Douglas Grant Rehabilitation Ward is a busy Neurological rehabilitation ward, with 16 beds. You must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro-active in achieving best outcomes for our patients. You must also commit to further learning, undertaking the complex care needs of this patient group and participate in the rehabilitation process, as well as any further training agreed with Senior Charge Nurse. Essentially you must be flexible with your work pattern – which will be depending on service needs. You should have excellent communication skills, have the enthusiasm and ability to provide therapeutic interventions to enhance the rehabilitation process for each individual patient, providing person centred care. You should also be able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Hours: 34.5, 30 and 20 hour per week contracts avaliable.
