Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Location: Primary Care Wellbeing Worker in North Aberdeenshire – Permanent


An exciting opportunity has arisen for three full time Primary Care Wellbeing Workers to work within the Aberdeenshire Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service. The post holders will deliver one to one therapeutic interventions and support people with mild anxiety and/or depression to develop coping strategies through the use of self-help resources. The Mental Wellbeing Workers will also work closely with the Psychological Therapists within the team to deliver psycho-educational groups.

These posts are based within Central and South Aberdeenshire and will provide cover to various GP practices within these areas.

We are looking for applicants with excellent communication and team working skills, experience of assessing risk and the ability to establish therapeutic working relationships.

As this post covers a wide geographical area a driving license and access to a car are essential.
