Aberdeen City Social Care Partnership and Old Aberdeen Medical Practice are looking for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our busy practice team. The post will be primarily based at Old Aberdeen Medical Practice. However candidates should note that they may be required to work at other practices across the city subject to clinical demand.
Aberdeen City HSCP is currently reviewing the how we provide GMS services from our managed ‘section 2c’ practices. A consultation process is underway to review the current service provision and how this will look in the future.
While this consultation process is in its early stages this will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future service provision for our population as we look at innovative ways of providing sustainable, resilient and person-centred care.
The Successful Candidate should be:
A Registered Nurse with a number of years post registration experience and expert practice in the specialty.
Educated to or working towards degree level.
Able to show evidence of continuous professional development in area of specialty including study days/courses/post graduate qualification.
The post holder will possess excellent team working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative.
Able to work flexibly as the service needs demand.
