The Mental Health, Equalities, Alcohol and Drugs Team (MHEAD) is an NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Board wide team covering 6 Health and Social Care Partnerships, Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire and East Dunbartonshire. Hosted within Glasgow City HSCP; the teams work with a wide range of partners and organisations within the statutory, third and tertiary sectors. The team are expanding with some exciting posts available for the right candidates. 
During the current pandemic there will be a need for flexible working to adhere to current Scottish Government guidelines with the requirement for some home working and socially distanced work at the main Base within Commonwealth House, Albion Street Glasgow and other local NHS/HSCP sites.   

Health Improvement Senior – Digital Communications
This is a new fixed term part time post that may be suitable for a secondment opportunity. The post holder will manage internal and external communication channels, with a predominant focus on digital formats. In addition will be responsible for engagement with service users, planning, production and management of content across multiple channels on and off line, matching channels, styles and messages to audiences as appropriate, internally and externally. Identifying, analysing and sharing models of good practice in digital approaches to promoting good mental health and wellbeing. Contributing to understanding of and responses to digital exclusion in the mental health sphere. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of key communications, campaigns and initiatives. The post holder will contribute to the planning, reporting and strategic direction of the youth health service. 

Knowledge, training and experience required to do the job

Qualifications
•    Educated to Degree or equivalent level in relevant discipline
•    Postgraduate diploma in health related discipline
•    Qualification in Information Technology

Experience
•    Track record of working and engaging with multi-disciplinary partners
•    Project management, and planning implementation
•    Online content management systems e.g. Umbraco, Word Press
•    Online analytical systems e.g. Google Analytics, social media paid ads
•    Ability to undertake research and development in relation to practice

Knowledge
•    Understanding of Health improvement principles and practice
•    Knowledge and understanding of Public Mental Health
•    Understanding of inequalities in health
•    Knowledge and understanding of evidence based practice utilising evaluation and research.
