Reporting directly to the Estate Officer (Electrical) – South, you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of electrical services within a hospital environment, as well as supervising electrical staff and monitoring various sub-contractors. Based at University Hospital Ayr, you will also cover all NHS properties within the South Sector.

A recognised apprenticeship, experience in electrical maintenance and a City & Guilds Craft Certificate is essential. Experience of engineering services within a hospital environment along with supervisory experience is desirable.

You will also be required to take part in an on call rota and be able to work at other hospitals within Ayrshire to meet the demands of the service.

A driving license is essential for this post.

Hours: 37.5 per week (8.00am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.30pm Friday)
