An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Highland Health and Social Care Team managing a well established nursing and residential home in Skye and Lochalsh, which is transferring across to NHS Highland from a private provider. The manager will be involved in providing high quality care and support to 38 residents along with a comprehensive staff team including 2 x Deputy Managers / Senior Staff Nurses, nurses, carers, and ancillary staff . The post holder will act as Care Inspectorate Registered Manager for the Home, ensuring it provides a safe and stimulating environment for service users, and promotes dignity, respect and fulfilling of potential in line with National care standards.
The Post holder will provide leadership to nursing and social care staff within the Care Home in the development and delivery of care plans, ensuring service users and their families are fully involved in all aspects of care and care planning. They will also have responsibility for managing the budget of the Home and any associated facilities.
