NHS Forth Valley is seeking a full time Emergency Planning and Resilience Manager (Band 8B) to lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning across acute, primary and community care. The post-holder will lead a small team of specialists focused on producing a range of emergency plans, policies, training, exercising, assurance and advisory processes to enable NHS Forth Valley to meet its obligations as a Category 1 responder under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and national guidance.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, in depth knowledge of the NHS and resilience, and substantial experience of acting as an expert resource advising Directors and Senior Management Teams on all civil contingencies matters.
NHS Forth Valley covers the Local Council areas of Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling with a population 306,000 with a wide ranging geography and has one of the largest petrochemical complexes in Europe.
