An opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Audio Typist within the AHP Administration Team.
The AHP Administration Team is a large city-wide team, consisting of over 60 administrative staff, working across a number of Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership and NHS Grampian premises. The team provides reception, clerical, administrative and audio typist support to the five Allied Health Professions; Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
This post is aligned to support the MSK Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioners, providing an efficient and comprehensive audio typing provision to the service.
The successful candidate will require excellent IT, communication and organisational skills and must provide a confident, courteous and friendly approach to patients and visitors accessing the department. Applicants should be able to work well both as part of a team and on their own; using their initiative and judgement, as required. Applicants should have a proactive and professional approach to work, and ideally possess previous office and audio typing experience within a similar environment.
Applicants will be asked to demonstrate excellent typing skills through the successful completion of a typing test at interview.
