We are looking for an experienced adult psychotherapist to join our team in North East Glasgow on a part-time permanent basis. The post involves carrying out psychodynamic assessment and treatment with people who have complex needs, and is supported in an established clinical team. We are looking for someone with highly developed knowledge of the psychoanalytic theory of human behaviour, development and psychopathology, who has undertaken post graduate training, and has experience of working in a mental health setting. We are currently working with telephone and video based intervention due to restrictions of Covid-19. You should have Postgraduate qualification and registration with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) or United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a psychodynamic or psychoanalytic psychotherapist in either group or individual psychotherapy., experience of working in a mental health setting and with a range of complex psychiatric conditions. Training as a mental health professional is desirable and evidence of post qualification CPD in keeping with the requirements of registration with the BPC or UKCP. The hours of this post will be worked Monday to friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm , possible planned evening work.
