An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to work as a Renal Recipient Transplant Coordinator within our Renal service in NHS Fife.  Early identification, effective assessment and preparation of Patients with End Stage Renal Failure are key to this role in ensuring patients are timely listed for Transplantation. You will work closely with the nephrologists, transplant surgeon, senior nursing team and participate in the transplant multi-disciplinary team meetings. You will also work closely with colleagues in the regional Transplant Centre in Edinburgh. You should be a qualified Nurse with significant Renal experience with a genuine interest in working with Renal patients and a keen desire to develop within the service.  You should have evidence of significant post registration professional practice to undertake and fulfil the key areas for this post. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Transplant coordinators however we will consider staff with suitable experience of working within this area of practice who have a desire to develop and become a Transplant coordinator.  This post will be based within Renal service at Victoria Hospital, however travel to Queen Margaret and St Andrews Community Hospitals will be a requirement also.
