Principal Officer (Care at Home) & Principal Officer (Care Homes) - 2 posts

NHS Highland is the lead agency for the delivery of adult community care services in the North Highland area. Due to the expansion of the Adult Social Care Leadership Team the exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit specialist Principal Officers.  Together this team is responsible for the overall management and improvement of NHS Adult Social Care. The Principal Officers will be a positive addition to this established team to contribute to supporting the social care workforce and key partners in delivering high quality person-centred services. 

These posts will have delegated accountability for professional leadership, direction and delivery of high quality, safe, effective and person-centred standards of practice for adult social care staff working in care homes, care at home and support services.

The successful candidate will be: SSSC Registered; educated to Degree level, or equivalent; and will have developed specialist knowledge in the area of service delivery underpinned by significant practice experience. They will also be able to demonstrate leadership and managerial skills gained in an operational role involving people management and budgetary responsibility.
