An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals seeking a permanent post as a Therapy Support Worker within the Critical Care and Surgical AHP Team (Physiotherapy (PTs) and Occupational Therapy (OT)) at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Clinical Support workers are integral members of therapy teams providing essential support to OTs and PTs and will work with their supervision and guidance in undertaking clinical and non-clinical tasks for adults in critical care and surgical wards with rehabilitation needs. The Support worker will work independently and with other therapists with adults who require rehabilitation after a critical illness or surgery. You must be caring and compassionate, have a working knowledge of rehabilitation needs and the role of PTs and OTs. Candidates must have previous experience of working with adults and have the skills to engage with and motivate others. You need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, commitment, flexibility and a strong team work ethic.
