Title: Physician Associate in Oncology (permanent appointment)

Physician associate post: Oncology
NHS Grampian is seeking to appoint one Physician Associate to join the oncology team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The post-holder will be primarily based in the ANCHOR inpatient unit on the 7th floor of the Emergency Care centre and they will work flexibly with the physician associates in ward 112.
This post would suit an enthusiastic, innovating clinician with a vision to delivering excellent healthcare as part of our enhanced Oncology and Haematology services. The prospective post-holder will be expected to develop/maintain their own clinical skills to a high standard to ensure safe delivery of care and have excellent team working skills. They must be able to work flexibly and multi-task when necessary including as required out of hours work.

There is easy access to the coast, to Royal Deeside and to the Highlands. The area offers opportunities for many outdoor pursuits including hill-walking, mountain biking and mountaineering.
Applications are invited from those Physician Associates who have completed the post graduate diploma in Physician Assistant/Associate studies and have at least one year’s experience or have completed an intern year in the NHS.
Applicants must also be registered with the UK managed voluntary register for Physician Associates.
