GP Vacancy
Due to a forthcoming retirement we are seeking a GP to join our team. Number of sessions negotiable. Competitive salary and annual/study leave entitlement.
Ardach is a friendly but effective, semi-rural practice situated along the Moray coast. Based in our purpose-built health centre, we provide care for over 9000 patients within Buckie and the surrounding coastal areas.
As an innovative team, we have a track record for pioneering changes to improve how we deliver care to our patients. We strive to harness digitalisation and optimise our IT use to achieve clinical excellence, including early integration of video consultation and e-consult asynchronous consultation.
Our team includes 5 GP partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, a nurse consultant and a highly skilled practice nursing team. We are fortunate to have an extended pharmacy team, a first contact physiotherapist, a frailty/dementia nurse and a professional administration team. Additionally, we work closely with our district nursing team and other community colleagues on site.
Ardach is a training practice for students, FYs and GPSTs. We enjoy shared responsibility for our local community hospital, with care of elderly consultant ward rounds and outreach. Over the years, we have developed close working relationships with other secondary care colleagues.
We would be happy to negotiate working days and sessions with the right candidate around their interests, family or other commitments. As a forward-thinking practice this may also be able to include some remote working.
Moray offers a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts and family living. There is also a Golden Hello opportunity, subject to health board eligibility.
