An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the administration team across the District.

You will  provide leadership and daily management of the Health and Social Care Administration staff with the SL&SWR District. To support effective clinical care and efficient operational management of the administration service, through excellent communication and close team working with patients, medical and nursing staff and social work staff. Maximise the available staffing resource to provide optimum delivery of service by prioritising workload and allocation of staff. To monitor and co-ordinate staff training, development, grievances, sickness and absence as per NHS Highland Policies and guidelines. To respond, co-ordinate and escalate complaints to the District Manager.

You will be responsible for daily monitoring of waiting lists and emergency escalation of problems to the District Manager/ Deputy and Senior Management Team. 

This post provides a first point of contact for the public and management of Lochalsh Health Centre and ensures the smooth running and management of the health centre by providing a comprehensive and quality administrative service.
