Applications are welcomed for the opportunity to join a skilled and dedicated team of Medical Equipment Technicians conducting routine service and repairs to a wide range of medical diagnostic and treatment devices to support clinical activities in large acute and community hospitals, and other NHS properties throughout Fife. You will be primarily based at Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline but will be expected to routinely augment services at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, as well as having the ability to travel to other NHS premises throughout Fife.
You will have a minimum HNC in electrical/electronic engineering and ideally you will have recognised and current medical equipment servicing experience in an NHS environment or verifiable and relevant experience from a recent position with another provider of medical equipment servicing.
Alternatively you will have significant experience of routine servicing and repairs of electronic and electrical equipment and be able to demonstrate the flexibility to adapt that experience to medical devices using the associated generic and speciality test equipment.
You should be fully accustomed to using computers for automated testing procedures, general administration and accurate record keeping, You will demonstrate good communication skills and have the ability to frequently work with minimal supervision.
