This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a new service to support people affected by cancer across the Lothians.  You will act as the central point of contact for the service across the whole of the Lothians and provide support to the ICJ Programme Manager and the small Project Team.  The role offers a unique opportunity to work with a range of partners across health and social care, local authority, third sector and users and carers. 

Your role: 

The first point of contact for the Pan-Lothian Improving the Cancer Journey service so that people affected by cancer can access the service, as well as be the point of contact for colleagues from across the Lothians.  Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager and Project Management Team as we move from service planning, to service delivery and ongoing monitoring of the ICJ service.

Contribute to the development of the Pan-Lothian programme, involving health and social care professionals, Local Authority, users, carers and wider public and third sector colleagues   

Whilst this post is based within NHS Lothian, due to COVID-19, a substantial period of flexible home working will be required.  This post will report to the ICJ Programme Manager.

Interviews are planned to be held in early January 2021.

Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
