An opportunity has arisen for highly motivated individuals to join the multidisciplinary team within the Theatre Admission Suite / Theatres of NHS Tayside. The successful applicants will be based at the above mentioned site, but may be required to vary their workplace within the area covered by NHS Tayside, as required.
You will play an important part in the patient’s journey, working within the Theatre Admission Suite and/or Theatres, assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) & Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) in the care and treatment of patients in the admissions and discharge areas and when undergoing their surgical procedures. Health care experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for this post.
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hrs per week, with a commitment to day / night rotation and on call if required by clinical area.
