Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Ward, ENT Outpatients and 23 hour Surgical Short Stay Unit, Planned Care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join and lead the nursing team within the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Ward, ENT outpatient units and 23 hour Surgical Short Stay Unit.  The ENT ward has 10 beds, is open 7 days a week and is located at Victoria Hospital. The 23 hour Surgical Short Stay Unit has 10 beds and is attached to the ENT ward, it is open Monday to Saturday mornings.  The Victoria Hospital ENT outpatient unit is located at the end of the ENT ward and there are a further 2 outpatient clinic rooms at the Queen Margaret Hospital.  ENT outpatient clinics run Monday to Friday.
You must be able to demonstrate an ability and passion to deliver high standards of safe, effective and person centred care, which focuses on enhancing the patient’s experience and you must be able to work efficiently and effective within a multidisciplinary team. 
You are required to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead a nursing team with passion. You will be accountable for delivering on service provision, redesign and improvement to provide safe, effective, person centred care.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You must be proactive and be able to demonstrate an ability to implement and manage change through effective leadership and evidence the ability to manage and develop the performance of a team.
