The base for this post will be negotiable across NHS Lanarkshire's 3 acute sites although you will still be expected to travel between sites. 


NHS Lanarkshire Microbiology is looking to employ a Quality Co-ordinator for the Specialty. you will be responsible under the direction of the Quality Manager for the Quality Management system across 3 Acute sites. You will ensure the quality management system (QMS) is implemented and maintained and report to Quality Manager on the functioning and effectiveness of the QMS.


You will have experience in Quality Management and in UKAS accreditation requirements.


State registration with the Health Care Professions Council is mandatory.


MSc in Biomedical Science or Fellowship of the Institute of Biomedical Science.


Formal evidence of highly specialist knowledge of a range of discipline specific procedures and in Quality management systems.
