Estates Maintenance Craftsperson - Joiner

• • You will provide Joinery Services including flexible working in a range of minor building cross trade skills (i.e. tiling glazing, drainage & roofing) to meet the needs of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board, by operating an efficient and effective Estates Service within the Boards healthcare facilities to ensure the safe delivery of patient care.  You will deliver a planned maintenance, repair & installations service which represents quality and value for money at all times.  You will provide a safe maintenance service to all building\construction related infrastructure and assist in the development of the Estates function into a customer focused range of services.  It is essential that you have served a recognised apprenticeship in Joinery/SVQ Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship – equivalent to level 3 or Higher/ Advanced Higher, Higher National Certificate, National Progression Awards/ Professional Development Awards (SCQF- 6-7).  You should have knowledge of range of procedures for building and repair; or mechanical and gas maintenance, or repair of electrical equipment; City and Guilds/ Apprenticeship, relevant certification or equivalent experience.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday.
