Scotland has some of the best health service data in the world and we work in partnership with NHS Boards, hospitals, GP’s and Local Authorities to provide IT systems to support local decision makers and national policy and guidance

We seek a self-motivated enthusiastic Systems Developer to join our small established friendly developer team, who are supportive of each other on a day to day basis. The post could be office based or working at home so the candidate needs to be flexible to adapt to both of these options. You should keep up to date with new technology and frameworks.  You will be involved in design, development, maintenance and support of the best possible solutions for new and existing software products used throughout Scotland.  
Applicants should be educated to degree level in an IT related subject or have equivalent experience in a technical development role on large scale system solutions. You will have proven experience in a technical IT role, with strong experience in building Office 365 solutions including Power Apps and Power Automate (Flow) You will also have experience with:  
•    SQL Server (including complex SQL stored procedures) 
•    NoSQL databases
•    JavaScript, JQuery and Web Services
•    Agile methodologies
•    C# 
•    ASP.Net and MVC 
Experience with Azure DevOps, front end frameworks and container technologies would be desirable

You will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work with health professionals in NSS, NHS boards and Local Authorities. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, and a high degree of accuracy. The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is essential.  
You should have the ability to work across many different projects with different priorities, managing the conflicting demands that this entails, negotiating and influencing customers and suppliers in terms of timescales and deadlines.
