To be the clinical rehabilitation lead in the field of major trauma rehabilitation supporting clinicians and others to provide best practice exercising a high degree of personal and professional autonomy in making complex decisions about patient management to ensure medical and rehabilitation needs are met.
Using Physiotherapy expert practice and advanced decision making, provide direct clinical care, diagnosis and management of acutely unwell Major Trauma Patients.
To provide strategic leadership for Major Trauma Rehabilitation across the South East of Scotland, develop and promote collaboration across the Scottish Trauma Network to ensure equality and equity of rehabilitation delivery.
Lead, influence and undertake research in Major Trauma Rehabilitation.
Education leadership for Major Trauma Rehabilitation in the South East Trauma Network.
