An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Service Manager post within East Ayrshire’s Children’s Health Care and Justice Service and we would welcome applications from highly motivated individuals.
The post holder will provide senior leadership and management to the Health Visiting and School Nursing Service in East Ayrshire. The post holder will contribute to the Children and Families and Criminal Justice management team and assist the Senior Nurse Manager in achieving strategic and service objectives and supporting operational delivery working within the Health and Social Care Partnership’s purpose, values and commitments.
The post holder will accept delegated accountability for the delivery of safe standards of nursing and social work practice in East Ayrshire, ensuring a focus on safety, effective management of resources, continuous improvement, staff training and development and education and research.
Responsible for a specific delegated span of control, the Service Manager will manage the nursing resource and secure operational delivery of the range of services, ensuring optimum use of available resources in achieving safe standards of care and delivering on the strategic objectives defined by the Health and Social Care Partnership.
Provide professional and operational leadership to nursing staff, the management team and other staff as appropriate.
This is a permanent post 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
