NHS Dumfries & Galloway are looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic operational manager to manage the Support Services team in the Acute & Diagnostic Directorate.
Duties include responsibility for the day to day management of the Support Services team which includes Cleaning services, Portering and Linen services (circa 285 staff). The post holder will have direct line management of the Support Services Supervisory Team (8 Supervisors). The post holder will be based in Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary but will also have managerial responsibility for Support Services Staff in Mountainhall Treatment Centre and Midpark Hospital. The post holder will be required to deliver standards of cleanliness in accordance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Specification and the HAI Standards.
A proven track record of working at a managerial / supervisory level, experience of working effectively in a fast paced demanding environment and managing a large group of staff is essential. Experience of working in a large healthcare or hospitality setting is desirable.
