OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

LEARNING DISABILITY SERVICE - COMMUNITY

BAND 5 / 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK / PERMANENT 


We have a  vacancy for a full time, permanent Occupational Therapist to join the Learning Disability Team based in New Craigs providing therapeutic interventions to adults with a learning disabilty across Highland.   The postholder will be passionate about improving the lives of adults with a learning disability and committed to enabling people to be as independent as possible.  They  will demonstrate a committment to working within a team  but also have the ability to work independently with individuals and their carers.  The postholder will work with a range of health and social care professionals and will  provide Occupational Therapy interventions to individuals living in both the community and hospital setting.

   

This post covers all of Highland and therefore a car driver is essential.  Experience of working with adults with a learning disabillity is highly desirable.
