These new and exciting posts based in the GG&C Perinatal Community Mental Health team are an excellent opportunity to provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for women with moderate-severe mental health difficulties during the perinatal period to improve their well- being and that of their infants. You will be a member of Perinatal Community Mental Health Team, which is an accredited Board wide service. The post provides highly varied clinical work with a range of presentations requiring approaches where Psychology provides the main intervention and also those that require joint working as part of a multi-disciplinary approach. As this is a developing service there are a number of great opportunities to participate in service developments to expand the impact and influence of psychological therapies within this clinical population. You will enjoy regular professional support as a member of the large and dynamic South Psychology service, and will benefit from our in-house CPD programme and strong professional support network. You will receive support and supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Applicants should have post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996), post-doctoral clinical experience and training, and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
