An excity opportunity has arisen within our Community Mental Health Team set in a beautiful part of the Highlands.


Candidates should have clinical expertise as  registered nurse in mental health and able to evidence good knowledge and skills for community working.  We are seeking someone who is self motivated and enthusiastic, working with your own caseload under direction and supervision from senior Band 6 staff and a Team Manager.  All aspects of the work will be underpinned by your theoretical knowledge and evidence base, along with demonstration of skills and qualities required to successfully provide person centred recovery focused interventions in the community.


The teams provides a high quality service to adults experiencing a range of mental health problems.  There is a variety of work meeting the needs of people with lifelong as well as acute mental health needs.  You will work within a MDT approach, with regular liaison within the team with psychiatrists and with primary care.  You will have the opportunity to deliver group work alongside your existing caseload.  You will be supported within your role by formal and informal supervision arrangements and encouraged to develop new skills.
