Applications are invited for this post which is based within the Electromedical Equipment Services Section at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. The EES team provides a comprehensive medical equipment management service to NHS Highland. 

The successful candidate will work in our EES Team based in Inverness and will commission, maintain and repair a wide range of medical equipment used throughout the Highlands. This includes pressure relief devices, infusion devices, defibrillators, patient monitors, theatre equipment etc. These services are provided to all of our hospitals and GP practices in NHS Highland and the post holder may be expected to work away from base occasionally, sometimes overnight. A full licence to drive in the UK is therefore desirable.

Specific projects relating to spares and stock taking will be assigned and a good knowledge of databases is essential.
Applicants should ideally have an OND in electronics engineering or other appropriate discipline. Relevant experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment and a working knowledge of databases, Word and Excel would be an advantage.

The successful applicant should be a customer focussed team player, a good communicator and have the organisational and time management skills required to cover a wide range of tasks.
