This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and innovative service at the early stages of development. The service seeks to engage some of the hardest to reach individuals and link them with appropriate treatment services. You should have relevant experience within an Alcohol and Drug Setting. You should be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge in relation to available treatments for Opiate Dependency and an understanding of Harm Reduction. Evidence of knowledge in relation to the impact of alcohol and drug use is essential to the role, and you should be able to demonstrate your ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a number of professional partners. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and staff are expected to participate in shift work. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you have evidence of continuing professional development. The shift pattern for this post is to be confirmed.
