NHS Grampian has a strong commitment to provide support for new graduate nurses through a structured development programme.

The aim of this programme is to provide a broad base of experience with post graduate professional development opportunities. All NGNs will be supported to complete Flying Start NHS® in their first year.  NHS Grampian is keen to support further academic study at Master’s level.

This structured progression route provides NGNs with the opportunity to consolidate their learning and develop knowledge, skills and competence in supportive learning environments.
