To provide leadership and ensure the effective and efficient management of all Property & Support Services across NHS Lanarkshire enabling co-operative working with other Health & Local Authority agencies. You will be the most senior technical officer within NHS Lanarkshire and will be responsible for advising NHSL on all property and building services related matters and on ensuring safe systems and procedures are in place associated with properties owned or occupied by NHS Lanarkshire. You will also undertake the role of designated person for all relevant statutory undertakings associated with Property and Support Services. The post holder will have a significant influence upon NHSL property strategy and be responsible for Capital expenditure associated with property management and investment. You will be responsible for the management of the PFI hospital contracts at Stonehouse, University Hospital Hairmyres and University Hospital Wishaw and three Hubco Health Centres contracts at Kilsyth, East Kilbride and Wishaw. The post holder will provide leadership and guidance to the Property & Support Services Divisional Management Team, which incorporates : Hotel Services (Patients & Staff Catering, Domestic, Hostess, Switchboard and Portering) Maintenance Services Waste Management Transport Services Regional Laundry Production and Linen Distribution Services Energy Strategy and Management Board Property Strategy Development and Execution Asset Management Strategy Strategic and Operational Management in relation to Fire and Security Decontamination Services (outsourced) |
