  • Lead, operationally manage and develop the new MSK Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner Service for Lothian to deliver an expert Primary-Secondary Care Interface service across multiple sites and divisions pan-Lothian.
  • Provide direct expert clinical care, which encompasses physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients in multiple clinical sites in Lothian.
  • Act as an expert clinical educator in the field of musculoskeletal management for Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, for physiotherapists, and for other Divisional staff, including medical staff.
  • Lead and support research as a key leader to extend professional practice, devise or test new clinical benchmarks, outcome measures or clinical indicators

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
