NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the UK’s largest providers of acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services delivering healthcare to a local population of 1.15 million people in the West of Scotland including providing specialist regional and national services to more than half of Scotland’s population.
Our Health Records service is currently looking to appoint to a number of immediately available Fixed Term Full and Part-time Clerical Officer posts.
Successful candidates will join our existing Health Records team responsible for providing administrative support for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Covid-19 Vaccination programme now underway across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. Our Vaccination Clinics are currently operational across 7days per week 8am to 8pm.
These key roles are part of our Health Records Service administration hubs, operating from 2 locations in Paisley, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s vaccination programme & clinics.
The post holder will operate in a highly varied and busy environment often responding to tight deadlines and you will use a range of IT systems for system input and at the same time communicate with other staff, patients and vaccination clinic teams on a daily basis in line with approved Standard Operating Procedures.
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the essential criteria of effective communication and customer care, exceptional organisational skills along with a good level of computer literacy and key board skills .Whilst not essential it is desirable that applicants have experience of using Patient Management Systems as well as handling a high volume of telephone /e-mail enquiries.
Opportunities are available for a range of full and part time posts with the flexibility to work across a range of shift patterns rostered across seven days including day, evening and weekend shifts.

The Recruitment Process
Interviews are scheduled to take place across a number of interview dates from late January and February 2021
Successful candidates must be immediately available to commence work, across start dates scheduled over February and March 2021
