An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Charge Nurse/ Service Manager, based in the Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Dept. David Anderson Building, Foresterhill Road, Aberdeen.
The service is NHS Grampian wide with screening clinics Monday – Friday at various locations throughout the area. NHS Grampian is also a regional grading centre where images from Grampian, Highland and Shetland are graded by highly qualified nurses.
This is an exciting and diverse Senior Charge Nurse/Service Manager post with multiple opportunities to develop and work with a strong and empowered multi-disciplinary team, delivering high quality care to people with diabetes.
The successful candidate should have extensive post RN. experience, preferably with management experience and have knowledge of diabetic retinopathy screening. The successful candidate should also be confident; reliable, flexible and motivated, you will require the ability to work well under pressure and most importantly must enjoy working with a wide variety of people.
A manual driving license is mandatory for this post.
