An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified individual to take on the role of a Mental Health Worker within Fife Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service.
The addition of CAMHS Mental Health Workers within Fife CAMHS seeks to enhance the current provision for children and young people with complex mental health difficulties. You will join a well established, multi-disciplinary team with the aim of providing effective community based assessments and therapeutic interventions.
You will be required to manage an individual caseload and be able to assess and deliver a range of therapeutic interventions on an individual, family and group basis to children and young people with a wide range of mental health difficulties. The post holders will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in a wide variety of hospital and community settings.
Applications are invited from staff qualified as Registered Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAP) with evidence of continuous professional development and who can demonstrate skills and competencies normally associated with significant experience in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health setting. You will be able to respond to the needs of the service and the locality which will include the ability to travel across Fife and wider as required.
