A receptionist is required to welcome patients and the public to the community wing at Tain Health Centre. The receptionist will provide a service whereby they will book patients in for their appointments, answer phone calls, deal with any queries, distribute mail, manage the room booking system and report any faults in the buildings communal areas.
The receptionist is required to manage the patient appointments lists of clinicians such as physiotherapists, podiatrists, and mental health professionals who hold clinics in the community corridor each week as well as the appointment lists for the community nurses and midwives who are based in the health centre.
We are looking for a motivated, friendly person who will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment. Ideally you will have a good general education, an excellent telephone manner with well developed interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work using your own initiative and prioritise workload is essential. Computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
This post is 37.5hpw and Job Share is considered. The working hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 0830 - 1700. Thursday 0800 - 1700 Friday 0800 – 1300
