A Lung cancer pathway coordinator support is required within the Respiratory Department to help aid and support the patients pathway with a possible diagnosis of cancer.  This can be a demanding role with high wolume workload requiring you to be able to prioritise workload. Occational assistance in other admin roles may be required within the service.  You will be working closely with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team and associated clerical staff, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the timely movement of cancer and potential cancer patients through their journey from referral onwards.  You will play a pivotal role in providing administration support for the Multi- Disciplinary Team () in order to deliver the outcomes and targets of Cancer Plan.  You will provide a high level administration service and facilitate the collection, analysis and presentation of audit data for cancer patients Glasgow city wide.  You will be responsible for arranging appointment for the neuromuscular patients in connection with the specialist nurses and consultants. You should have an SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience and good keyboard skills.  You should also know some medical terminology.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
