Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, motivated person to join an established multi-disciplinary clinical trials team, based in the Regional Infectious Diseases Unit at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.
The post holder will assist with the general administrative requirements associated with study set up, running and closing of a clinical trials including data collection, data entry maintenance of essential documents. All work undertaken in the Department, is in accordance with the International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP) to ensure provision of high quality care. The role is predominately administrative but clinical work will also be required.
The post holder will assist with the delivery of direct and indirect clinical and research care, sample processing support for research studies.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
