Band 7 £40,956 - £47,730 including Distant Islands Allowance

If so, this could be the opportunity for you. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead our Health Visiting and School Nursing Teams.
The role will provide leadership and management of both teams to deliver high quality and proactive services and have clinical responsibility for a small caseload. The clinical caseload will predominantly be based on the Orkney Mainland, but you will also have the opportunity to deliver care to families living on our outer Isles.
The Scottish Universal Health Visiting Pathway and the School Nursing Pathways are at the heart of our service delivery and lay out the core visits and services that all Children and Young People in Scotland will receive. As the Health Visitor and School Nurse Team Lead, you will utilise the GIRFEC principles and approach in your daily work to promote the health and well being of Children, Young People and their Families in Orkney.
You will work closely and in collaboration with the teams, managers and partner agencies to provide accessible, flexible, high quality, strengths based and effective services.
You will need to have good communication and organisational skills coupled with the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner as well as within a team setting and driving is a must.
The successful candidate will be offered clinical, peer and child protection supervision.
